The 2027 GMC Lineup at Wheelers GMC in Wisconsin Rapids
The 2027 GMC model year is one of the most significant in recent memory. GMC's flagship — the Sierra 1500 — gets a complete fifth-generation redesign with a new V8, updated interior, and an anticipated plug-in hybrid option. It's the first full Sierra redesign since 2019.
Beyond the Sierra, the 2027 Yukon and Yukon XL get a mid-cycle refresh with an updated front end and confirmed engine lineup. The Terrain makes a meaningful mechanical jump — the CVT is out, an 8-speed automatic is in, and Connected Cameras arrive as a new standard feature. The Acadia carries forward a strong 2024 redesign with production starting July 2026.
